Week of July 1st to July 8th

So this is the begging of my blog, sorry that it might be set up all sort of weird but I am still learning how to do these things. 

The beginning of this week was all work work and more work so nothing really to announce, I will be getting a picture up here soon of me in my work uniform. well by the middle of the week the Fourth of July finally came around and all of the planning was finally put into action...

In this picture you can see Mom and Ammon preparing for the dinner... 

Everyone helped with dinner-- but Me who was at work all day-- But they had a very good time and made lots of food.

Here you can see the outcome of our dinner preparing. here is a list  of some of what we had. see if you can find it all 

watermelon, chili, hotdogs, coleslaw, hamburgers, bananas, guacamole, bean dip, and just a few chips.  mom is back behind the counter preparing some more food!!!

and here you can see Ammon is getting very excited to watch the traditional movie of the fourth1776. we all had a blast watching this, we sang along with and talked along with over half of the movie!!!! one of my favorite family traditions :)

Mom and Catherine both were able and not tired enough to go to the Fourth of July parade that was just up the street. here is one of the many things that they saw.

And here are two pictures of mom doing the HIGH YA on the watermelon a few days later (we were all toooooooooo stuffed to eat in on the actual day it was meant for)

Lately Catherine and Dad have moved their computer business to the Family room.

Actually Dad just went out and bought another load of computer stuff for Catherine to work on and they both have been working on updating all of our computers in the house.

Mom and Dad have been very good at watering all of our lawns especially our front lawn, Dad really wants to have a "Golf field lawn". They are saying we are very lucky to have a well during the draught so that we can do this.

Catherine Has been working very hard on her 4-H projects. if she gets a good score then she can get a very good scholarship. here is a poster of her computer project and another photo of her costume that she made she is supposed to be a steam punk person in case you can't tell.

It is really awesome how Catherine has taken old parts to things such as a broken watch, a broken sink , and old worn out shoe supports, to make all of the props in her costume. the jacket she made out of a mans suit coat that she and mom got from good will. The hat is Tesia's that she is letting Catherine use. and the gun belt is actually a belt that she make a holster for and put her "gun' in. well all in all and very fun week.
